A Triptych of Multiple Remembrances.
Another, more personal, iteration of the Gravity Engine project. The text input taking the form of three poems about an unplanned hike through the dark on a local beach one rainy October night. The output shown here includes the engine rendering of each poem in the triptych and a series of algorithmically generated images selected from 50 cycles of the program utilizing each respective poem as input—50 automated impressions per poem to account meaning lost in the transmission of the experience.
All three poems are based on the same set of source notes made immediately after the event (included below).
